For breweries

Sake Guide presents Japan's breweries, brands and bottles in English and Japanese, compiled from what each brewery publishes. Listings are free, and corrections or additions are welcome at any time.

Correct or add to your listing

Romanized name, founding year, address, brand and bottle specifications, discontinued or new products, visiting policy: write to info@sake-guide.com with anything that should change. Information from the brewery takes priority over what we have compiled, and we align the English spelling with the one you use officially.

Photos (the brewery, the kura interior, bottles, labels) help readers abroad get a sense of the place. We credit the source and remove any photo on request.

What we are preparing

• Visitor bookings — a way for people abroad to request tours and tastings, with the conversation mediated across languages. Each brewery sets its own conditions: group size, times, price, languages.
• Trade inquiries — many of our readers abroad are restaurants and importers. We will pass on their inquiries to breweries with the requirements already clarified.
• Brewery accounts — so that a brewery can update its own listing directly.
