Brewing Society of Japan (Nihon Jozo Kyokai)

The Brewing Society of Japan (Nihon Jozo Kyokai) is an incorporated foundation established in 1915 (Taisho 4) with the aim of advancing the brewing industry in Japan. Its mission is to promote scientific and technical research on brewing and to foster progress and development in the brewing industry, including sake. Specifically, it contributes to improved technology and quality across the industry by providing venues for research presentations and carrying out educational activities. The society also works to promote and pass on Japan's brewing culture, and engages in activities that deepen exchange with brewers and enthusiasts in Japan and abroad.
