Conduction (heat transfer)

伝導でんどう
Conduction refers to the transfer of heat within a substance, in which heat moves from a higher-temperature area to a lower-temperature area. It occurs when materials are in direct contact, and it can take place in solids, liquids, and gases. In sake brewing, temperature control inside the fermentation tank is important, and temperature differences during fermentation can affect the quality and flavor of the sake, so heat conduction plays an important role.
