Bottling (binzume)
瓶詰めびんづめBottling is an important step in the sake-making process, in which finished sake (seishu) is filled into bottles, its final container. During this step, checks for foreign matter and quality checks are carried out so that the sake reaches consumers with its quality intact. Bottling is also usually carried out in an aseptic environment to preserve the quality of the sake, and appropriate temperature control and hygiene are important. After bottling, the product moves into storage and distribution. This allows consumers to enjoy fresh, high-quality sake.
