About
For the brewing of the new sake, five members of the ANA SHONAI BLUE Ambassadors, who take part in the All Nippon Airways (ANA) Group's regional revitalization project promoting the appeal of the Shonai area, lent their support. Before the new sake was brewed, the five tasted and compared about ten kinds of sake, including Kiyoizumigawa (きよいずみがわ), the flagship brand of Odovi Shonai, the brewery responsible for production. They then discussed what kind of sake women prefer. This year's Honokaori Junmai Daiginjo was made by incorporating the opinions of the five, who travel across Japan as flight attendants and know the flavors of local foods and sakes, while pursuing the taste and aroma of sake that women enjoy.
