今津郷いまづごう
Imazugo (今津郷) is a sake-producing district in the southeastern part of Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture, and one of the Nada Gogo (the Five Districts of Nada). During the Meiwa era (1764–1772), Kaminada and Shimonada were merged and came to be called "Nadame Sango," which gives the area a rich historical background. Imazugo is blessed with high-quality water sources and thriving rice production, creating an ideal environment for sake brewing. Local sake breweries draw on traditional techniques to produce flavorful sake. Sake from Imazugo is characterized by its aroma and taste, making it an appealing choice for sake enthusiasts.
