Molar concentration (molarity)
モル濃度もるのうどMolar concentration (molarity) is a measure of the amount of solute contained in a solution, and it is widely used in fields such as chemistry and biology. Specifically, it expresses the number of moles of solute in 1 liter of solution, and its unit is moles per liter (mol/L). A mole is a unit that indicates the amount of a particular substance, serving as a standard for the number of particles (such as atoms or molecules) it contains. One mole corresponds to approximately 6.022×10^23 particles. In the sake brewing process as well, molar concentration is an important indicator for understanding the concentration of sugars and alcohol.
