Pascal's principle

パスカルの原理ぱすかるのげんり
Pascal's principle is a physical law stating that pressure applied to a confined liquid is transmitted equally throughout that liquid. In other words, pressure applied to one part of the liquid affects every other part, so that all parts experience pressure of the same strength. This principle plays an important role in many machines and systems that use liquids, such as hydraulic systems.
