Weight percent
重量パーセントじゅうりょうぱーせんとWeight percent (also called mass percent) is a measure of how much of a total mass is made up by a particular substance. It is calculated from the number of grams of that substance contained in a 100 g sample. For example, if a solution contains 10 g of sugar, the weight percent is 10%. This concept is also very important in sake production: understanding the proportion of specific components, such as alcohol or sugar, helps in understanding the character and flavor of the sake.
