About
On the banks of the Kinokawa River in the northeastern part of Wakayama Prefecture, at the foot of Mount Koya, lies Katsuragi in Kishu, the birthplace of Kishu Katsuragi Kawakami sake. At its peak, this sake was shipped widely to various regions by way of the Kinokawa River's water transport. Today, the local sake brewery in this area has become the last one remaining. Following that tradition faithfully, this genshu (undiluted) was brewed as a bold, high-proof sake for true sake lovers and devoted nihonshu enthusiasts to enjoy.
