About

Hiyaoroshi has been an autumn tradition since the Edo period. The name comes from the phrase "hiya no mama oroshi" (冷のまま卸す), meaning shipped as it is, chilled. Aged for six months in the brewery, where temperature changes are minimal, this autumn-only sake offers a sweet, gentle aroma reminiscent of white peach and a pleasantly mellowed richness. A sake released simultaneously across Nagano Prefecture on September 9.

Autumn limited release.
