About

Ishikawa Brewery is a sake brewery founded in 1863 (Bunkyu 3) in Kumagawa, Fussa, Tokyo. Its grounds contain six structures designated as Registered Tangible Cultural Properties of Japan, and visitors can tour the earthen storehouses (dozo). In addition to the sake brand Tamajiman, the brewery also makes the craft beers Tama no Megumi and TOKYO BLUES. The grounds include a direct-sales shop, Sakesera (酒世羅); Fussa no Beer Goya (福生のビール小屋), which serves local craft beer alongside Italian food; and the Zogura Shiryokan (雑蔵史料館), a museum that introduces the history of sake and beer brewing from the Edo period through the Showa era. It is a brewery where visitors can enjoy the world of sake making up close.
