About
In Hita (日田), a place of mountains and clear waters often called the "Little Kyoto" of Kyushu, this sake was slowly finished at low temperatures. It makes use of the cold climate of the Hita Basin in central Kyushu and the abundant water of Tenryo (lands once governed directly by the shogunate) Hita. The flavor is deep, and the sake is easy to drink, with a mellow, rich character. It pairs well with Japanese cuisine in particular, as well as a variety of other dishes.
