About

When dry sake was all the rage, Kikusui deliberately released a sweet sake. This was a time when only dry sake seemed to be accepted as a match for a wide range of dishes. As food culture diversified, so did consumers' tastes, and we believed people would want to drink sake that was not dry. With that in mind, we introduced our Four-stage brewing (yodan jikomi) sake. However, this is a sweet sake unlike the sweet sakes of the past. Built with today's food culture in mind, it is crafted as a sake that is lightly sweet and delicious.
