About

At the Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau Sake Appraisal for fiscal 2015 (Heisei 27), Junmai Kinokawa received a gold medal in the junmai category for the first time. It can be enjoyed chilled or warmed (kan), and we strive to make it the ultimate food-pairing sake, suited to everything from seafood to meat dishes. We will continue to refine our brewing toward that goal. A Word from the Toji (master brewer) Brewed with a rice polishing ratio of 65%, this junmai sake aims for a body with both acidity and sweetness, along with a clean finish. It is characterized by the gentle aroma typical of Kyokai No. 9 yeast and a firm, full-bodied palate.
