About

Making use of the yukimuro (snow storage), a traditional low-temperature food storage facility long used in Uonuma, a region of heavy snowfall, this sake was aged in a storage room packed with large quantities of snow. Temperatures of around 3 degrees Celsius are kept stable by the snow. In this environment, the sake was matured over three years, developing a mellow character.
