About

Made with 100% Hinohikari rice grown using specially cultivated methods, with low pesticide use, by Tatsumi-san and Takemura-san, dedicated farmers in Nara, this sake uses the four-stage brewing method (yodan jikomi) with rice koji to draw out even more of the rice's umami. It has a gentle aroma, with soft, mellow rice umami and sweetness, and a clean finish. It can be enjoyed across a wide range of temperatures, from chilled to warmed (kan). The sake received the highest gold award in the Premium Kanshu category at the Kanshu Contest 2021. It also received a gold award at The Fine SAKE Award, Japan 2022.
