The description cites a slightly smoky aroma and an acid-led, light yet well-defined palate, with kimoto adding structure. Aroma is restrained and body light, so the sake reads as dry-leaning and crisp.

About

From the Heisei 27 brewing year (2015), the sake was renewed using the Tochigi yeast "T-ND," and it is now made entirely with Tochigi ingredients in both name and substance. It has a slightly smoky aroma, and its Tanrei (light, clean) character centers on acidity while still offering a clear sense of contrast. It is also recommended with smoked foods and dried fish dishes. It is also excellent when warmed to around 40–45°C (nurukan, lukewarm).
