About
Brewed with well water drawn from the satoyama (village foothill woodland) and Gohyakumangoku rice grown in Joetsu, including contract-grown rice, using the traditional futa-koji (lidded koji) method. This is a tanrei umakuchi (light yet richly flavored) sake. It has a soft mouthfeel and an elegant sweetness that spreads across the palate, with a smooth, silky drinking experience. Available in winter only (November to January).
