About

A special Junmai Daiginjo made with Yamada Nishiki, the “king of sake rice,” grown in Hyogo Prefecture and polished to 18%. Care was taken in both the selection of raw materials and the brewing process. The delicacy that comes from polishing rice and the umami inherent in the rice itself are directly proportional to each other. By allowing these two qualities to coexist, we arrived at a design that maintains an exquisite balance. Juhachi was once discontinued, but in response to many requests from customers, it has returned with a new design as the ace of the Tatenokawa brand.
