About

This is the pinnacle of skill and quality from Yaohonten: a daiginjo made with Yamada Nishiki (sake rice) grown in Hyogo Prefecture, milled to a 35% rice polishing ratio and slowly brewed at low temperature. In both aroma and taste, it is the brewery's finest sake. Chichibu has large temperature differences between summer and winter, making it a region well suited to sake brewing. The water, which is said to shape the character of sake, is snowmelt that wells up from the mountains of the Chichibu mountain range. The brewers hold to the conviction that good sake is made by good people, and they have devoted themselves diligently to brewing. Their efforts led to seven consecutive Gold Awards, the first in Saitama Prefecture. Typical of daiginjo, it has a fruity aroma and a clean finish. As the brewery's top-tier sake, it is made to satisfy both connoisseurs and those newer to sake, and it is very easy to drink. We invite you to savor its elegant, floral aroma and mellow depth.
