About

A Honjozo genshu with a sake meter value (SMV) of +2 and an alcohol content of 19%. The name Kashiwazakari was chosen because the founder came from Kashiwazaki. It is made with Gohyakumangoku rice and with underground water from the Otanigawa (大谷川) River, which flows from the Nikko Renzan mountain range. This water is called Senryo-sui (千両水). The result is a fragrant sake with fine, rounded texture. It has a sharp, tightly focused taste that feels as if a single straight line runs through it. Please try it.
