About Hana wa Saku Kura no Hana Junmai Ginjo Urakasumi As a brewery in the disaster-affected region, we have sold Hana wa Saku Kura no Hana Junmai Ginjo Urakasumi since 2013, in support of the aims behind "Hana wa Saku," the NHK song created to support reconstruction after the Great East Japan Earthquake. NHK, which broadcasts this song, uses the catchphrase "Toward Tomorrow – Let Us Support Each Other." Through broadcasts, events, the web and other media, NHK works to support disaster-affected areas and convey the appeal of the Tohoku region. It also actively produces programs and content that share information about post-earthquake Japan with the world. Hana wa Saku, the Great East Japan Earthquake reconstruction support song, is one of these initiatives. We have commercialized this product under license from NHK Publishing Co., Ltd. for use of the registered trademark "Hana wa Saku." Part of the sales from this product is donated as condolence money to disaster-affected areas through the NHK Kosei Bunka Jigyodan (NHK Welfare and Cultural Foundation). Since April 2011, following the Great East Japan Earthquake, we have been running the "Fukko e Ganbarou! Miyagi – Urakasumi Hatsu, Nihonshu no Chikara" project. Its aim is to channel the support that people across Japan have given to Urakasumi and to sake into regional reconstruction, so that we can move forward together with the region. For each bottle of Urakasumi purchased, we set aside part of our sales to support efforts to rebuild the regional food culture closely tied to sake, as well as projects that nurture the children who will shape the region's future. Hana wa Saku Kura no Hana Junmai Ginjo Urakasumi is also one of the products covered by this project.
