About

In the early Edo period, in Tenna 1 (1681), a sake brewery called Yoshidaya was founded in Saku, Shinshu. About 250 years later, in Showa 4 (1929), its head, Hara Jisuke, carried on this tradition while reorganizing the business as a joint-stock company, and became its first president. Carrying this tradition into the present, the Ginjo Yoshidaya Jisuke is a sake of commanding presence. Enjoy it chilled to around 8-10°C. Since 2004, Yoshidaya Jisuke Ginjo has been adopted as a private-label product by two kappo ryotei (traditional Japanese haute cuisine restaurants) at Grand Hyatt Tokyo (Roppongi Hills).
