About
Brewed as an entry for a sake competition (kanpyokai), this rare sake is a very small-batch, limited release in which every step, from rice washing to pasteurization, is done by hand. It is made with 100% Koshitanrei (越淡麗), a rice variety renowned as a Niigata-original sake rice, and the brewers (kurabito) were personally involved in growing the rice. The design is inspired by the annular solar eclipse (金環日食), symbolizing a single, special moment of radiance. Serve lightly chilled. Using a round-bodied sake vessel will make the aroma easier to enjoy. Recommended serving temperatures ⚪︎: 20°C ◎: 10°C
