About

Because this is a new challenge that departs from the conventional Sotembo, which is brewed in the Tanrei umakuchi style (light yet flavorful), we named it Gaiden, meaning side story. With a sake meter value (SMV) of +10.0, it is dry. However, we aimed to create a junmai sake that is more than simply dry, and we carefully brewed it, meticulously judging subtle points from raw material processing through to the timing of pasteurization. It has a light body and a clean, refreshing taste that does not tire the drinker. It has a crisp finish, so it does not get in the way of meals. The product is pasteurized twice to ensure quality control. Note: Gaiden Dry Junmai sake is a year-round, limited-quantity product. Because production volume is limited, sales are restricted to Yuragi Sotembo retailers.
