About

Made with local rice and water, by local hands, using the traditional four-stage brewing method (yondan jikomi) with glutinous rice and the skills we have honed without pause. This special Roman was brewed for entry in a sake competition (kanpyokai) using Fukunokaori, a sake rice developed by Fukushima Prefecture. As a company, we have long upheld the principle of 'sake brewing that cares about the feelings of the region and the brewers.' The Five Commitments of the Roman series and the brewing philosophy we have cherished, which we call Philosophy, are all embodied in this bottle. Brewed with care and each step handled meticulously, this Roman Junmai Daiginjo is one we invite you to savor.
